Behind the Scenes

Meet the people who have helped behind the scenes at UConn Bleed Blue.

Cliff Demers

My big Bro. It all started when he got a scholarship to play for UConn in 1961. I just had to follow in his footsteps. He's been a major force behind this event for the past 4 years.

Kevin Freeman

Associate Director of Athletics / Executive Director of the National C Club which connects and engages former UConn student-athletes and managers. Kevin is the glue behind the scenes that makes this event happen. He's always willing to help. Oh yeah - he's also a former UConn basketball captain and member of the 1999 National Championship team.

Kyle Kravchuk

Associate Director of Athletics/Ticket Operations - Kyle manages the enormous logistical task of getting free tickets to all UConn Football Alumni while strictly adhering to NCAA's compliance guidelines. For 1 month a year, we are constantly in contact with each other.

Seamus Donagher

A retired professional chef who just happens to be one of my best friends. I remember that 1st phone call - "Seamus, I want to honor Coach B with a tailgate with over 250 guests. Can you handle the menu, cooking, etc.? I don't know what I'm doing"

Billy and Dave

Billy and Dave - the best butchers in the Hartford area. Dave is a third generation owner of Hall's Market while Billy has gone out of his way to supply me with the best cuts of meat, 4 years running.
